упругая волна
Возмущение, распространяющееся в твердой, жидкой и газообразной среде.
При распространении упругой волны в среде возникают механические деформации сжатия и сдвига, которые переносятся волной. При этом имеет место перенос энергии упругой деформации. Гармонические колебания упругой волны характеризуются амплитудой и частотой. В любой среде из-за внутреннего трения и теплопроводности ее частиц происходит затухание (поглощение) упругой волны.
Диапазон упругих волн простирается от долей Гц до 1013 Гц. Область применения этих волн включает акустоэлектронику, акустооптику, ультразвук, гиперзвук.
